Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:BNK). Oil and gas. Down 21 cents, or 14.58 per cent, to $1.23 on 7.7 million shares.

Claude Resources Inc. (TSX:CRJ). Miner. Up one cent, or 1.39 per cent, to 73 cents on 6.1 million shares.

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down three cents, or 0.60 per cent, to $4.98 on 5.8 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Unchanged at $1.22 on 5.4 million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up three cents, or 1.13 per cent, to $2.69 on 5.1 million shares.

ProMetic Life Sciences Inc. (TSX:PLI). Biotechnology. Down 12 cents, or 3.91 per cent, to $2.95 on 4.6 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Toronto-Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Bank. Down 75 cents, or 1.36 per cent, to $54.30 on 3.4 million shares. Toronto-Dominion Bank earned $1.84 billion of net income in its financial fourth quarter, a 5.3 per cent increase from last year despite higher restructuring costs as part of the company’s long-term efforts to improve efficiency. The profit amounted to 96 cents per share or $1.14 per share on an adjusted basis, after excluding $243 million of after-tax restructuring charges and other items. A year earlier, net income was 91 cents per share and adjusted earnings were 98 cents per share.

Sears Canada (TSX:SCC). Department stores. Down $1.22, or 11.34 per cent, to $9.54 on 12,538 shares. Sears Canada Inc. says sales of major appliances, furniture and mattresses helped its performance in the third quarter but overall revenue was down and the company still posted a loss of $53.2 million. The decline amounted to 52 cents per share and represented an improvement over last year’s third quarter, when Sears Canada posted a net loss of $118.7 million or $1.16 per share.
